After he quit his job as a sailorman, then he joining his uncle Wahab who have a factory of Craffting of Insect at Depok area West Java, to helping and learning making various crafting of insect. He work there helping his uncle for about 2 years from 2000-2002.
In his experience helping her uncle, he began to interested at this crafting of insect business. With the skill that he have, in the middle of 2002 he dare to open his own business of this crafting, he named UD. Beta Handicraft as his brand business label.
The first product that he made is a key hanger that contain beetle and butterfly. Zais said that in the first three years of his business is the bitter times. He realized that his product is quiet unique, so the market compartment isn’t so big. But his confidence that when there’s a will there a way, doesn’t make him give up.
In the early of his business, he tried to sold the product in recreation places such as Taman Mini Indonesia Indah-East Jakarta, Ragunan Zoo-South Jakarta and or Bogor Botanical Park-West Java.
He realized that he can’t just counting on sales in recreation place, then he tried to sell his product to hotels and airport. But the sales increasing not yet been felt. Newly in 2005, he have been help by Sufron as a marketing which is recognizing the product to the global market through internet by launcing the site in www.griya-insecta.com. Early 2006 is benediction year because the export request start to coming. The requester coming from Spain, New Zealand, Australia and US. Minimum 2000 pieces for online order, with down payment 50% and the rest paid after ten days via transfer bank. It’s true the crafting of insect is most enthused by overseas people, because the varian of beetle and butterly in Indonesia a lot doesn’t meet there.
Now Zais has produced a various crafting of insect with a variable prices such as variative key hanger, necklace of beetle, butterfly on frame, watch of insect etc.

Hening Sukmadewi: Producer of Quilt Bed Cover
Strong self confidence and creative which is drawn from Hening sukmadewi (Dewi). This is make her plunge to business of quilt because she saw that the unique product is very prospektive forwards. One of the product becoming its pledge is bed cover with various motif manner like animation figure, flower and or butterfly.
Butterfly design represent one of the customer favorite, especially mothers circle. While teen girl usually flower motif and teen boy usually animation figure. Besides attending immeasurable designs, she also use materials of perca as individuality of its brand product.

In the early of 2008 she decides to start business of quilting, with the skill that she have, she begin to creating bed cover of quilt. With early capital equal to Rp 5 millions that she used to buy raw material and equipments like cotton cloth of perca, scissors, yarn, gauge and pencil.
Although as beginner in business of bed cover quilt, Dewi not only going with the stream. She choose to use cloth of perca as material with her own creation design like butterfly application and or wayang siluet. But she also accept order as according to desire of the customer, for example animation film character like Spiderman and Naruto.
Besides attended cheerful colour but remain to elegan, for example colour of cream with gorgeous butterfly application. Because the market which she are balmy is adolescent, woman and housewife which is have young soul. Beside that, she also use combined cheerful colour like cream, green of moss, pink, white, yellow, blue sky and bright red.
The technique that is used by Dewi is Japanese technique so that almost entire quilting is handcrafted. For the design of bed cover per month she can make 4-5 new sample design of bed cover quilt. And to follow the example in catalog each six months the products will be change accommodated with model trend.
Besides the model which is always up to date, the quality of product is also the priority of dewi’s product. Because she use cloth of perca with material from 100 % cotton which is well known strong and smooth. “I can’t use cloth of perca with material from 80% cotton because it’s more slippery and it’s hard to quilt,” Dewi said. So that bed cover that she made is very soft and even safe for sensitive skin.
Until now she have been produce more than 50 bed cover design just like bed cover of quilt with flowers motif, peoples, butterflies, animation character such as Spiderman and Naruto. According to her, now the trend of bed cover quilt is butterflies motif for young mother. She sold the bed cover per piece, but if purchasing in many number minimum 3 unit to be resell by merchandiser, given discount 10%. The price that she offered for 1 pc bed cover size 250 x 270 cm (Queen) start from Rp 2.5-3 millions depends on the difficulty level. For example, the price of bed cover with butterfly motif, Naruto, people is Rp 2.5 millions and flowers motif is Rp 3 millions.
To make the product more beautiful, Dewi intend design the packaging with box which is made by plastic material with cheerful colours to draw the customer. The Sale system is selling to break, except for damage product can be return at longest 2 week after purchasing. Besides bed cover she also make various other products like bag at the price of Rp. 250-300 thousand/pc, baby mop of Rp 600-850 thousand/pc and chair pillow case at the price of Rp 150 thousand/pc. Seeing market respond quiet good, next year she plan to produce more various quilting product like shoes and or mineral water gallon chase.
